Terms and Conditions


The provider of products and services sold in this online store is Oma Hotelli Oy, (2907396-7), and these terms and conditions apply to the offering of products and services.

Terms of Service

These terms apply to individual accommodation reservations made by individual persons unless a specific agreement has been made or the conditions of the booked rate product indicate otherwise.

These terms also apply to accommodation reservations made through the Oma Hotel's website. The hotel has the right to use special terms that differ from these terms if the use of special terms is justified due to holidays, hotel-specific special events, seasonal fluctuations, or ancillary services related to accommodation.

When making a reservation, you must provide your name, residential address, arrival and departure time, and payment method. The reservation is binding on the hotel once it has been confirmed verbally, in writing, or for example by email, and when you have received a confirmation number.

Customer Responsibility

The room is available to you from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 12:00 PM on the day of departure. The hotel may have different check-in and check-out times.

In the hotel, we follow good manners and house rules. If you violate these rules, you may be immediately removed from the hotel. However, you must still pay for your accommodation and any additional services ordered, and you cannot request a refund for any payments already made.As a guest, you are responsible for any damage caused by you intentionally or through negligence (such as smoking in the room, fee 500€), which you, your guests, or your pets cause to the room, other hotel premises, furniture or equipment, as well as to other hotel guests or their property.Liability for damage is determined according to general principles of compensation for damages.

The customer is responsible for damages caused intentionally or negligently by the customer to the seller or third parties.

Cancellation and Modification

Paid reservations cannot be modified or canceled through the online service. If necessary, please contact the hotel reception.

You have the right to cancel the reservation without charge and receive a refund if the reason for the cancellation is a serious illness, serious accident, death, or another unexpected and serious event concerning yourself or a close relative. A close relative is considered to be a spouse, common-law partner, child, parent, parent-in-law, sibling, grandparent, or travel companion with whom the accommodation has been arranged in the same room. To prove the reason for the cancellation, you will need a reliable document such as a medical certificate. However, the hotel has the right to deduct administrative fees from the refundable amount.

Force Majeure

Oma Hotelli Oy shall not be liable for the cancellation of an order or reservation or other damage resulting from a force majeure event beyond Oma Hotelli Oy's control, which the seller could not reasonably have foreseen at the time of the transaction and the consequences of which Oma Hotelli Oy could not reasonably have avoided or overcome.

During your stay, an emergency hotline is available for urgent situations at 040 124 1787. Complaints and other remarks can be sent to varaus@omahotellit.fi.

Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution

The parties shall endeavor to resolve disputes arising from the agreement primarily through negotiations. If no agreement is reached in negotiations, disputes shall be settled in the district court of the seller's domicile. This agreement is governed by Finnish law.

This online store has been implemented on the Joiku Booking online store platform. Joiku Booking (Comgate Oy, 2663001-9) does not provide, own, or control any services or products such as accommodations, activities, or transportation services that you access through this site.

The owner of this online store, Oma Hotelli Oy, owns, controls, or offers services or products directly or as an agent. The seller is responsible for the service or product sold. The seller's terms apply to your booking, so you must accept and understand these terms. Joiku Booking is not responsible for any issues related to booking, use, implementation, or delivery of the service or product.


Products are primarily ordered through the internet via the online store's shopping cart.

All orders will be confirmed via email, indicating the order price and ordered items. To receive the order confirmation, provide your email address during the order process.

By placing each order, you agree to the current seller's terms of service.

Paytrail Oyj (2122839-7) acts as the payment intermediary and provider in cooperation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. Paytrail Oyj will appear as the payee on your account statement or credit card bill and will transmit the payment to the merchant. Paytrail Oyj holds a payment institution license.

Order and Payment Confirmation

You will receive an order confirmation by email, including:

  • List of ordered products
  • Total invoice amount
  • Tax breakdown

Should there be any inconsistency or conflict between the English and Finnish versions of the Terms and Conditions, the Finnish version shall prevail.
